I primarily used this study guide and edited some info for the Cessna 172 I train in and then supplemented in YouTube mocks, an audio book and flash cards I bought. And I just passed my PPL checkride yesterday EASILY with fantastic compliments from the examiner. We cruised through my oral in just 90 minutes!! Highly recommend this thorough study guide! And she automatically sends out an update if something changes in the ACS.

I love these study guides these are so helpful I bought Private Pilot and now I have bought Instrument one which helps me and specifically saves my time on researching what topic on ACS is required to study these study guides are already organized in ACS standards which I just have to open the PDF and study. God bless Ava she has done a really great job on these pdf. Trust me really very helpful for students who are struggling or confused where and what to study. I don’t have to research anything cuz it has everything you need to study for ( every topic ).

Great plans as a basis to get started on writing my own. This gives a great foundation on what can be expected for my own lesson plans, and being able to tweak them as I need is extremely helpful. This took a lot of stress off of starting my CFI, so thank you Ava!

Got these a couple months ago and love them. You can edit each one if needed. All info is good, I just edited some to my airport and what works for my students. Very in depth so if anyone has questions, you can refer to them. They also include questions to ask student to see if they’re comprehending.

I tried reading books to prepare for my check ride. But I have always had a hard time retaining information when I read it. This was a completely different way to learn. What I was reading, I was also retaining. It worked great for me.

This study guide helped so much in the check ride. What I recommend is preparing a binder with everything you need for the check ride and then study these questions in and out. There are some things in the questions Ava has provided that the DPE will not dive into. Again, she says in the beginning that every question will not be asked for every check ride. My DPE was so thoroughly impressed how prepared I was with the binder and how I answered his questions by studying this and my notes that I never once opened the FAR/AIM or PHAK during the entire check ride.
