Privacy policy
How AOA collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information
Effective date: August 30, 2026
This Policy covers AOA-controlled information across the Shopify store, Whop products, consultations, communities, marketing, support, and related services.
1. Who we are and the scope of this Policy
Morph LLC, doing business as Airlines on Autopilot ("AOA," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the Services. AOA provides aviation education, pilot-preparation resources, digital products, physical merchandise, courses, subscriptions, communities, consultations, and related services.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information controlled by AOA through airlinesonautopilot.com, AOA Shopify storefronts, AOA products or spaces on Whop, customer accounts, consultations, communities, marketing, support, and other AOA services that link to this Policy (collectively, the "Services"). Shopify, Whop, payment processors, advertising platforms, fulfillment providers, and other companies may also process information under their own privacy policies.
For information that AOA determines how and why to process, AOA is the controller or business as those terms are used in applicable privacy laws.

2. Information covered by this Policy
"Personal information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, can reasonably be linked with, or could reasonably identify an individual or household. It does not include information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be linked to an individual.
3. Personal information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with AOA and which product or platform you use. We may collect:
- Contact and identity information: name, email address, phone number, mailing or billing address, username, profile name, and age or parent/guardian information when relevant.
- Account and access information: account identifiers, login status, product entitlements, membership status, access dates, device sessions, security information, and verification records. AOA generally does not receive your platform password.
- Transaction and commercial information: products viewed or purchased, cart activity, order number, amount, currency, discounts, taxes, billing history, subscription status, renewals, cancellations, refunds, gift-card activity, shipping method, and payment confirmation. Full payment-card or bank credentials are generally collected and stored by Shopify, Whop, or their payment providers rather than AOA.
- Shipping and fulfillment information: recipient name, shipping address, phone number where needed for delivery, tracking information, delivery status, return information, and communications with carriers or fulfillment providers.
- Learning and product-use information: enrollment, lesson progress, video or file access, downloads, quiz attempts, responses, scores, study preferences, certificates of completion if offered, and interactions with AOA applications, courses, or communities.
- Customer support and communications: emails, messages, contact-form submissions, call notes, survey responses, questions, technical details, and information you choose to provide when requesting support.
- Community and user content: posts, comments, profile information, uploaded files, reviews, testimonials submitted with permission, photographs, videos, or other content you make available through an AOA or platform community.
- Consultation and scheduling information: appointment time, time zone, professional or flight-training background, goals, resume or career information you choose to share, and notes needed to provide the requested session.
- Guarantee, return, and dispute information: order records, return photographs, carrier records, and documentation reasonably necessary to evaluate a refund, return, charge dispute, or pass-guarantee request. Redact airman certificate numbers, FTNs, dates of birth, addresses, medical information, and unrelated personal details before sending documents.
- Affiliate and referral information: application details, website or social profile, referral links, coupon attribution, referred transactions, commission status, tax forms, and payment information needed to administer the affiliate program.
- Device, usage, and internet information: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser, operating system, device type, language, referring page, pages or features viewed, dates and times, interactions, cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers, and diagnostic or security logs.
- Marketing and preference information: email or SMS subscription status, campaign interactions, referral source, advertising-audience information, and cookie, consent, or privacy choices.
- Social media and third-party account information: information available when you follow, message, comment, enter a promotion, or otherwise interact with AOA through a social network or linked service.
- Inferences: general preferences, likely product interests, engagement patterns, or fraud and security indicators derived from the information above.
We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for a specific service or legal obligation. Do not send unredacted medical records, government identification numbers, airman certificate numbers, account passwords, payment credentials, or precise location data unless we specifically request the minimum necessary information through an appropriate process.
4. Sources of personal information
We collect personal information from:
-
you, when you purchase, create an account, use a product, complete a quiz, post in a community, schedule a session, contact us, or submit a request;
-
Whop, Shopify, payment providers, scheduling services, email providers, video hosts, and other service providers that support the Services;
-
analytics, advertising, and cookie technologies used on AOA-controlled websites or campaigns;
-
social networks, referral partners, affiliates, schools, or other third parties when you interact with them in connection with AOA or authorize a disclosure;
-
publicly available sources and information we reasonably derive from the information described above, such as fraud indicators, general location, product preferences, or engagement trends.
5. How we use personal information
We may use personal information to:
- provide, deliver, personalize, and maintain digital products, downloads, physical merchandise, subscriptions, courses, quizzes, communities, consultations, updates, and support;
- create and manage accounts, verify purchases and access rights, process orders and returns, arrange fulfillment and shipping, manage subscriptions, and communicate about transactions;
- respond to questions, troubleshoot access, evaluate guarantee or refund requests, administer affiliates, and maintain customer-service records;
- understand how products, websites, advertising, and campaigns are used; conduct analytics; test and improve content, features, and customer experience; and develop new offerings;
- send newsletters, product updates, promotions, SMS messages, or other marketing in accordance with your choices and applicable law;
- measure advertising, create or use audiences, attribute referrals and purchases, limit repeated advertising, and understand campaign performance;
- score quizzes, recommend content, personalize learning, or provide automated educational feedback where those features are offered;
- protect accounts, detect fraud, unauthorized sharing, scraping, payment abuse, or security incidents; enforce agreements; and protect AOA, customers, and others;
- comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, privacy, recordkeeping, sanctions, legal-process, and other obligations; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and respond to lawful requests;
- carry out a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale, or other business transaction; and
- use information for another purpose disclosed when collected or that you authorize.
6. Legal bases for EEA and UK processing
Where the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or similar law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract; compliance with legal obligations; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and marketing the Services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and consent, such as for certain cookies or marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
7. Cookies, analytics, advertising, and communications technologies
AOA and its providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Services, maintain sessions, remember preferences, prevent fraud, understand usage, measure performance, personalize content, and provide or measure advertising. Providers may include Shopify and its services, Meta, Google, email or SMS providers, analytics vendors, and other tools enabled on the store.
Some technologies are essential. Others may be controlled through a cookie banner, the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the website footer, browser or device settings, platform preferences, or a recognized universal opt-out signal. Blocking cookies may affect site functionality. Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not interpreted consistently across the industry. Where required by law and technically supported, we honor recognized universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control for the browser or device sending the signal.
AOA does not sell personal information for money. However, disclosures through certain advertising, analytics, social-media, or Shopify services may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under some laws even when no money is exchanged. Where applicable, you may opt out through "Your Privacy Choices," a recognized opt-out signal, or a privacy request. Opting out limits certain personalized or cross-context advertising; it does not stop all advertising or essential processing.
Where Shopify Network Intelligence or Shopify Enhanced Services are enabled, Shopify may use information about interactions with this store and other merchants to provide analytics, fraud prevention, personalization, or advertising services. Customers can use the store's privacy controls and the Shopify privacy portal at privacy.shopify.com to learn about or exercise applicable choices concerning Shopify processing.
If you opt in to SMS marketing, we may use your phone number and consent records to send messages and may disclose them to service providers that deliver those messages. We do not sell or share mobile opt-in data or consent with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing. Message and data rates may apply, and you may opt out as described in the message.
8. How we disclose personal information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Commerce and access platforms: Shopify, Whop, customer-account providers, app providers, video hosts, and course or community platforms that process purchases, provide access, manage subscriptions, prevent fraud, or host content.
- Payment, tax, and financial providers: payment processors, card networks, banks, tax services, fraud services, and dispute platforms. AOA generally receives transaction confirmation rather than full payment credentials.
- Shipping and fulfillment providers: printers, warehouses, carriers, address-verification services, and return-processing providers needed to fulfill physical orders.
- Technology and operations providers: hosting, cloud storage, email, SMS, customer support, scheduling, document delivery, analytics, security, authentication, and technical service providers.
- Advertising and social-media providers: Meta, Google, Shopify advertising services, affiliate or attribution tools, and other providers that measure or deliver advertising, subject to your choices and applicable law.
- Professional advisers: accountants, attorneys, insurers, auditors, consultants, and other advisers who need information to provide services or protect legal rights.
- Government, regulators, law enforcement, courts, payment networks, or other parties: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, enforce agreements, or respond to legal process.
- A buyer, successor, lender, or adviser: in connection with a proposed or completed financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
- Other persons at your direction or with your consent. Information you post in a public or shared community is also disclosed to the people who can access that area.
Service providers are expected to handle information for authorized purposes and with safeguards appropriate to the relationship, subject to their contracts and applicable law.
9. Shopify, Whop, and other platform processing
Our online store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes information to provide storefront, checkout, payment, security, analytics, customer-account, marketing, and other commerce services. Depending on the Shopify features enabled, Shopify may act as AOA's service provider or processor and may also process information for its own stated purposes. Review Shopify's consumer privacy information and privacy portal for details and available rights.
AOA also uses Whop for certain products, memberships, payments, access, and communities. Whop may independently process information for account administration, payments, tax, security, fraud prevention, analytics, advertising, and legal compliance under its privacy policy.
Other platforms, payment providers, social networks, carriers, or app providers may independently collect and use information under their policies. AOA does not control all platform processing. A privacy request concerning information controlled solely by another company should be sent to that company. AOA will reasonably assist with a request concerning AOA-controlled information.
10. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including to provide access and support, maintain business and tax records, honor product updates or guarantees, prevent fraud and unauthorized sharing, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law. Retention varies based on the type of information, the product access period, whether an account or subscription remains active, legal limitation periods, and platform capabilities.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, de-identify, or aggregate it. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before deletion. We may retain information longer when required by law, needed for security, or relevant to an unresolved dispute or legal claim.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we control. No online service, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for using a strong unique password, protecting your email and platform accounts, signing out of shared devices, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
12. International transfers
AOA is based in the United States, and AOA and its service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we or our providers use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, contractual protections, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
13. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on your location and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to confirm whether we process personal information; request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy; opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; limit certain sensitive-information uses; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; appeal a denial; and receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right.
To exercise a right concerning AOA-controlled information, email airlinesonautopilot@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and describe the request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, account, residency, and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authorization and direct verification from you. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying with the subject "Privacy Appeal."
You may also:
- use the Your Privacy Choices link in the website footer to opt out of data practices treated as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where available;
- use a browser or device that sends a recognized Global Privacy Control signal;
- manage cookie choices through the cookie banner, browser, device, or platform settings;
- unsubscribe from marketing email through the link in the message;
- opt out of marketing text messages using the instructions in the message; and
- manage notifications, subscriptions, or privacy preferences through the applicable Shopify, Whop, social-media, or customer account.
Transactional, access, support, legal, and security communications may still be sent when necessary to provide the Services or comply with law.
14. Additional U.S. state privacy disclosures
During the preceding 12 months, depending on customer interactions, AOA may have collected and disclosed for business purposes the following categories of personal information:
- identifiers and customer records, such as names, email addresses, contact details, account information, and order records;
- commercial information, such as purchases, subscriptions, product interests, returns, guarantees, and support history;
- internet, device, and electronic activity, such as IP address, browser, device, pages, interactions, cookies, and diagnostic information;
- approximate geolocation inferred from IP address or transaction information;
- user content and communications, such as reviews, messages, community posts, consultation information, and support records;
- educational and usage information, such as enrollments, progress, quiz responses, scores, and downloads; and
- inferences, such as general preferences, engagement patterns, likely interests, or fraud indicators.
The recipient categories are described in Section 8. AOA does not knowingly sell personal information for money and does not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16. Certain advertising and analytics disclosures may be treated as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under state law. You may exercise applicable opt-out rights as described in Section 13.
AOA does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you and does not knowingly sell sensitive personal information. Where a law requires an appeal process, submit a Privacy Appeal as described above. Where required, we will recognize authorized-agent requests and universal opt-out signals after reasonable verification.
15. Children and teens
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and AOA does not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without legally required parental consent. If we learn that such information was collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian may contact us to request review or deletion. Users between 13 and the age of legal majority must use the Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian as required by the Terms of Service and applicable platform rules.
16. Automated and AI-assisted instructional features
Some AOA features may automatically score a quiz, compare a response with an answer framework, recommend content, personalize a learning path, summarize material, or generate educational feedback. These tools may process the content you submit, related course information, and usage data needed to provide the feature.
Automated feedback is an educational aid and may be incomplete or inaccurate. AOA does not use these features to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. Do not rely on automated feedback as the sole source for aviation safety, certification, medical, employment, financial, or regulatory decisions. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive or confidential information to an automated feature.
17. Third-party links and public areas
The Services may link to third-party websites, apps, social networks, or resources. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Information posted in a public or shared area can be copied or used by others; do not post information you do not want disclosed.
18. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, products, platforms, or legal obligations. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice of material changes when required. Your continued use after the effective date means the revised Policy applies to future processing, subject to applicable law.
19. Questions, complaints, and contact
Contact AOA at airlinesonautopilot@gmail.com or the mailing address below with privacy questions, complaints, or requests. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. Depending on your location, you may also have the right to complain to a state attorney general, data-protection authority, or another regulator.
