Refund policy
Digital products, physical merchandise, subscriptions, consultations, and the AOA money-back guarantee
Effective date: August 30, 2026
Digital purchases are generally final after access, unused physical merchandise is generally returnable within 30 days, and the Pass Guarantee applies only where the product listing expressly offers it.
1. Scope and priority of terms
This Refund, Return and Pass Guarantee Policy applies to purchases from Morph LLC, doing business as Airlines on Autopilot ("AOA," "we," "us," or "our"), through airlinesonautopilot.com, Shopify, Whop, or another authorized AOA checkout that presents or incorporates this Policy.
A product listing or written offer may contain a more specific guarantee, access term, return restriction, event rule, or service term. The more specific term controls for that subject. Nothing in this Policy limits a refund, cancellation, warranty, conformity, or withdrawal right that applicable law does not allow a seller to waive.
Policy summary: Digital products are generally final after access or download, subject to the exceptions below. Unused physical merchandise may generally be returned within 30 days of delivery. Subscriptions can be canceled to stop future renewals. The AOA Pass Guarantee applies only to eligible products that expressly display the guarantee.
2. Digital products, downloads, and hosted access
Study guides, lesson plans, PDFs, presentations, videos, courses, quizzes, communities, and other digital products cannot be physically returned. Except as described below or required by law, a digital purchase is final after a download link or file is delivered, a hosted entitlement is activated, or the customer meaningfully accesses the content.
A refund or other remedy may be available when:
- the customer was charged more than once for the same transaction;
- a confirmed payment-processing error occurred;
- AOA did not provide the purchased files or access and could not correct the problem within a reasonable time after receiving sufficient information;
- the product was materially different from the description presented at purchase and AOA could not provide a reasonable correction, replacement, or substitute;
- the purchase qualifies under the AOA Pass Guarantee in Section 7; or
- applicable law requires a refund, cancellation, conformity remedy, or withdrawal right.
A change of mind, failure to use the product, purchase from the wrong account, purchase of substantially duplicative content clearly described before checkout, device incompatibility not caused by an AOA defect, or dissatisfaction with an examiner, instructor, school, employer, or training outcome does not by itself create a refund right.
3. Physical merchandise returns
Unless a product page states a different lawful rule, an eligible physical item may be returned within 30 calendar days after confirmed delivery if it is unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in substantially the same condition and packaging in which it was received.
Before sending a return, email airlinesonautopilot@gmail.com with the order number, item, reason, and photographs when relevant. Wait for return instructions. Items sent without authorization or to an address not provided for that return may be delayed, refused, or lost.
The customer is responsible for return shipping and risk in transit unless the item was defective, materially damaged before delivery, or incorrectly fulfilled by AOA. Original shipping charges are not refundable unless required by law or the return resulted from AOA's error. Use a trackable method and retain proof of shipment.
The following are not returnable except where required by law or because of a defect:
- digital products, downloads, hosted access, and gift cards;
- personalized, custom, made-to-order, or final-sale items when clearly identified before purchase;
- items showing wear, washing, use, odors, damage after delivery, missing parts, or removed hygiene or security seals; and
- items purchased from an unauthorized reseller.
AOA may offer an exchange, replacement, store credit, or refund depending on availability and the customer's rights. The fastest exchange method may be to return the eligible item and place a new order.
4. Damaged, defective, incorrect, lost, or missing physical orders
Inspect physical orders promptly. Contact AOA within 7 calendar days after delivery if an item arrived damaged, defective, materially different from the order, or missing from a delivered package. Include the order number, packaging photographs, item photographs, and any carrier information reasonably needed to investigate.
Do not discard the item or packaging until instructed. AOA may replace the item, provide a return label, issue a partial or full refund, or provide another remedy appropriate under the circumstances and applicable law.
For a package marked delivered but not received, first check the delivery location, household members, building staff, and carrier tracking. Report the issue promptly. AOA may require a carrier claim, police report, affidavit, or identity verification when reasonably necessary to address suspected theft or fraud. AOA is not automatically responsible for theft after correct delivery, but will provide the assistance or remedy required by law and may offer a courtesy replacement at its discretion.
5. Subscriptions and renewal charges
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancel before the next renewal charge is submitted. Cancellation normally stops future billing; its effect on remaining access depends on the product and platform terms shown at purchase.
AOA generally does not provide prorated refunds or credits for unused time, partial billing periods, failure to use the subscription, or failure to cancel before renewal, except where required by law or expressly stated in the offer. An accidental renewal request received within 48 hours may be considered as a courtesy when there has been no meaningful use after renewal, but approval is discretionary and not guaranteed.
Free or discounted trials must be canceled before the disclosed trial end to avoid conversion to a paid subscription. See the Subscription and Cancellation Policy for cancellation instructions.
6. Consultations and scheduled services
Consultation refunds and rescheduling are governed by the Consultation Booking, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy. In general, an eligible consultation may be canceled for a full refund at least 48 hours before the scheduled start, and one reschedule may be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled start. Completed sessions, late cancellations, no-shows, and substantially completed work are non-refundable except where required by law or when AOA cannot provide the purchased service.
7. AOA Pass Guarantee
The product listing controls eligibility. The AOA Pass Guarantee applies only to a product that expressly displayed a "pass" or "money-back" guarantee when purchased. The exact wording shown on that listing controls whether the guarantee covers the entire FAA practical test, the oral or ground portion only, or another specifically stated result.
7.1 Eligible customer and attempt
To qualify:
- the purchase must be an AOA checkride study guide or another product that expressly states it is covered;
- the customer must purchase the eligible product before beginning the first official practical-test attempt for the same certificate or rating;
- the attempt must be an official FAA practical test for that certificate or rating, not a mock oral, stage check, end-of-course check, knowledge test, retest, or later attempt;
- the result must fall within the guarantee language displayed at purchase; and
- the account and use of the product must comply with the Terms of Service and Digital Product License Agreement.
A discontinuance, weather delay, aircraft issue, examiner cancellation, applicant cancellation, no-show, medical issue, expired knowledge test, missing endorsement, logbook or eligibility problem, or administrative refusal to begin is not a failure unless an official Notice of Disapproval identifies an unsatisfactory area covered by the guarantee or the product listing expressly says otherwise.
7.2 How and when to submit a claim
Submit a complete request within 30 calendar days after the eligible first attempt by emailing airlinesonautopilot@gmail.com with the subject "Pass Guarantee Request" or by using the applicable platform refund or resolution feature. Include:
- the customer's name and purchase email;
- the order number and eligible product;
- the certificate or rating and date of the first attempt; and
- a legible copy of the Notice of Disapproval or comparable official documentation reasonably showing the covered unsuccessful result.
Redact the airman certificate number, FTN, date of birth, home address, medical information, payment details, and unrelated personal information. AOA may request reasonable additional information to verify eligibility, but will not require unnecessary sensitive information.
7.3 Refund amount for eligible claims
For a qualifying standalone product, the refund is limited to the amount actually paid for that eligible product after discounts.
For a bundle containing multiple ratings or products, the guarantee is evaluated separately for each rating. Unless the bundle listing expressly promises a refund of the entire bundle, the refund is limited to the reasonable allocated price of the eligible component associated with the unsuccessful rating. AOA may calculate the allocation proportionally using the standalone prices in effect when the bundle was purchased, capped by the amount actually paid for the bundle.
The guarantee does not reimburse examiner fees, aircraft rental, instructor fees, travel, lodging, financing costs, lost wages, training costs, currency differences, or other expenses. Only one guarantee refund is available per customer for each certificate or rating.
7.4 Guarantee exclusions and abuse
The guarantee is void for unauthorized sharing or resale, falsified or altered documentation, identity or account fraud, a purchase made after the relevant attempt began, a claim for a later attempt, or other material misuse. AOA may deny a claim that does not match the guarantee displayed at purchase. Nothing in this section limits a non-waivable consumer right.
8. Gift cards, promotional credits, and discounts
Gift cards, promotional credits, complimentary access, and redeemed discount value are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law. A refund for a purchase made partly with a gift card or store credit may be returned to the same tender or as required by the payment platform and law. A promotion does not increase the amount refundable above the amount actually paid.
9. Technical and access problems
Before requesting a refund for missing digital access, confirm that you are signed in with the purchase email, check spam and promotions folders, review the order in the applicable account, try a current browser, and contact AOA with the order number, purchase email, device or browser, and a screenshot of the issue.
AOA may resend a link, restore an entitlement, provide an alternate file, move access to a verified account, or offer other reasonable troubleshooting. A refund is not required when AOA can provide the purchased product within a reasonable time and the problem is caused by incorrect customer information, unsupported software, loss of account access outside AOA's control, or a temporary platform outage.
10. How to request a return or refund
Email airlinesonautopilot@gmail.com with the subject "Return Request," "Refund Request," or "Pass Guarantee Request," as applicable. Include the name, purchase email, order number, product, purchase date, reason, and supporting information.
For a Whop purchase, you may also open the order in Whop and use the available Request Refund or Resolution Center process. For a Shopify purchase, reply to the order confirmation or contact AOA. For an unrecognized or duplicate charge, also contact the payment platform shown on the receipt.
AOA generally aims to respond to complete requests within five business days. Complex verification, carrier investigation, or platform review may take longer.
11. Inspection, approved refunds, and timing
Returned physical items are inspected after receipt. If approved, a refund is sent to the original payment method through the applicable platform. AOA may deduct an amount reflecting loss in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the item, where permitted by law.
After AOA approves a refund, processing time is controlled by the platform, card network, and financial institution and may take several business days. AOA cannot redirect a refund to another person or payment method. Access to a refunded digital product may be revoked, and the customer must delete retained copies unless applicable law provides otherwise.
12. International and mandatory consumer rights
Consumers in some locations may have statutory withdrawal, cancellation, conformity, warranty, or return rights. For digital content supplied immediately, a statutory withdrawal right may end after performance begins only when applicable law permits and the required consent and acknowledgment are obtained. This Policy does not restrict any non-waivable right.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the terms displayed for their market. If a mandatory local rule conflicts with this Policy, the mandatory rule controls.
13. Chargebacks, fraud, and records
Please contact AOA or use the platform resolution process before initiating a bank chargeback so we have an opportunity to correct the issue. Nothing in this Policy waives a lawful cardholder or consumer right.
Fraudulent, duplicate, or bad-faith disputes; false return claims; empty-box returns; altered guarantee documents; or unauthorized content sharing may result in account suspension, revocation of access, denial of discretionary remedies, and submission of relevant order, delivery, access, and communication records to the platform, carrier, payment provider, card issuer, insurer, or authorities as permitted by law.
14. Policy changes
AOA may update this Policy prospectively. The version presented or linked at purchase generally governs that purchase, except that a change required by law or more favorable to the customer may apply earlier. AOA will not retroactively remove an express guarantee for which a customer remains eligible.
